On the beach at Useless Bay, surrounded by a wildlife sanctuary — an uninterrupted view of water and mountains, an expansive beach at your feet, a peaceful & generous seaside escape.

THE SUITE
The freshly remodeled Beach Suite is steps from the sandy beach — yours to explore and enjoy. At seaside, Adirondack chairs await your visit, eagles soar, herons fish, and the tide laps the shore.
The suite, with its own private entrance, overlooks Sunlight Beach, the Olympics, and the Straight of Juan De Fuca. From the beach, enjoy a vista of majestic Mount Rainier.
Throughout, the suite's decor is quiet and elegant, reminiscent of a New England beach house. The suite includes a superior King-size bed beautifully appointed with line-dried luxury linens and feather pillows.
A second bedroom accommodates one additional person (or two very young children) and offers an en-suite kitchenette. Your private bathroom includes a 6-foot soaking tub and separate two-person shower. Of course we provide plush towels and robes as well as our own private-label bath treats.

THE BEACH
Relax while watching the tides from your West-facing suite right on the beach. When the tide goes out, you will be left with over a mile of sandy beach to explore.
When the tide returns, the adventure continues. Grab a kayak and explore the back bay — a 40-acre bird sanctuary — with water. The Audubon Society has designated this area as one of the Island's best places to birdwatch.

THE GARDENS
A seaside garden is full of mystery and stoicism.
Grasses grow tall and shield the more fragile wild roses, secret paths fill with fragrance in the late afternoon.
Cutting beds, raised gardens full of fresh vegetables, espaliered apple trees and heirloom blooms, shady spots to stop and reflect or share a secret...
Come explore our ever-changing gardens.

NEARBY
The Beach Suite is a 5-minute drive froma newly refurnished grocery store, bistro cafe, and other conveniences...and just a few minutes more to the scenic seaside vilage of Langley. Community events include shellfish festivals, art exhibits, the county fair, beach walks, bike tours, and bountiful farmer's markets. Throughout the year there is always lots to do and see close by.
